“SK focusing on AI Proposal with Samsung; Taewon Choi Suggests Exclusive Meeting for Discussion”. Chairman Choi specifically asked about the function of being able to check one’s health status on the mobile phone screen after wearing the Galaxy Ring, and also asked about the background of releasing a wearable device in the shape of a ring rather than a smartwatch. President Noh explained, “We decided that it would be best suited for monitoring important health information without missing out because it can be used while wearing it at all times without any burden,” adding, “Once charged, it can be used for at least 5 days without recharging.” President Roh is known to usually wear a Galaxy ring.
As Chairman Choi personally requested a separate meeting, attention is being paid to whether collaboration in new areas between SK and Samsung Electronics will be discussed in the future. Chairman Choi said, “We are pursuing a telecommunications company (telco) alliance. Meanwhile, SK is a representative company that is actively working at the group level to dominate the AI industry and technology. Chairman Choi met with reporters on this day and was asked about the strengths of AI at the SK Group level, saying, “We are trying to be reborn as a company that can do much more in the AI era and secure and service many customers.” . “Almost all companies (SK affiliates) are doing something related to AI,” he said.
