America’s Tallest Skyscraper To Be Built in Oklahoma City
According to the British “Metropolitan” report on February 5, the United States plans to build the tallest skyscraper in the United States and the fifth tallest in the world in Oklahoma City.
Not content with building the second-tallest building in the United States, real estate developers have submitted a variance request to increase the height from 1,750 feet (0.53 kilometers) to 1,907 feet (0.58 kilometers), AO Construction said in late January. This four-tower building will not appear in New York, Chicago or other famous cities, but will be built in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Currently, the tallest tower in the United States is One World Trade Center in New York City, which stands at 1,776 feet (approximately 541 meters). The three towers of the new skyscraper will be 345 feet (0.11 kilometers) tall, while the fourth “Legend Tower” will reach 1,907 feet (0.58 kilometers). AO stated that this symbolic elevation serves as a tribute to the year Oklahoma attained the status of the 46th state in the United States.
Scot Matteson, CEO of Matteson Capital, said: “Oklahoma is going through an important period of growth and transformation, and we believe this development will become an iconic landmark for the city, further driving economic growth and diversification. attract investment and new business opportunities, and provide employment opportunities.”
