Gemini Nano will not be installed on Pixel 8

At a recent Android Show event held by Google, an engineer from the Android creation AI team said, “Due to some hardware limitations, the Gemini Nano will not be installed on the Pixel 8.”
“We are working to apply Gemini Nano to more devices,” he said. “There will be more high-end devices in the near future.”
Last year, Google announced that the Pixel 8 Pro smartphone equipped with Gemini Nano would provide a conversation summary function even without an Internet connection and a function that automatically suggests the optimal answer through the keyboard app ‘G Board’. .
Regarding this, 925Google expressed disappointment, saying that in terms of product specifications, the only difference between Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro is the RAM capacity of 8GB and 12GB.
In addition, the Samsung Galaxy S24 also has 8GB of RAM like the Pixel 8, but it also implements the ‘Google Magic Compose’ function, an AI-based messaging function, and predicted that this decision was made by Google to differentiate its Pro products from regular Pixel phones.
