LG U+ Why Not Boosters Season 2 Cumulative Views 24 Million Times
LG U+ announced on the 25th that its influencer community ‘YNot Boosters’ completed Season 2 activities, reaching 24 million cumulative views of its content. WhyNot Boosters is a creator training program prepared by LG U+. LG U+, together with Meta Korea, provides mentoring opportunities to help creators strengthen their content production capabilities, and creators produce review content for LG U+.
From May to September last year, 120 creators were selected focusing on the daily life category to complete Season 1 activities, and from October to February of this year, the categories were expanded to design, music, magic, and pets, and 200 creators were selected. Season 2 activities were carried out.
WhyNot Boosters produced a total of 918 pieces of content during Season 2 activities and achieved a cumulative number of views of over 24 million. This is an increase of 30% and 60%, respectively, compared to Season 1. The number of creators’ followers increased by an average of 137%. The number of contents voluntarily produced by creators also increased by 238% compared to Season 1, reaching 255.
LG U+ is carrying out various activities to strengthen creators’ content production capabilities. In Season 2, we collaborated with Meta Korea to provide professional Reels (Instagram short-form service) training, and invited unique content experts such as popular creators Noh Eun-sol and Nitmol Cash to provide online and offline mentoring opportunities.
We also introduced the ‘Creator Dashboard’, which allows you to check creators’ activities at a glance and analyze content data. We analyze detailed data such as upload cycle, content length, and top exposed hashtags, and regularly provide know-how to improve content quality.
Why Not Boosters Season 3 will run from May. We plan to strengthen the program by reflecting the know-how of LG U+, which has been operating since May of last year, and the opinions of creators. Creators who participated in Season 1 and Season 2 will also participate in Season 3 and continue producing content.
Kim Hee-jin, head of LG U+’s integrated brand marketing team, said, “In Season 3, we will continue to strengthen the creator ecosystem to strengthen fun and communication functions and create differentiated value unique to LG U+.”
