Louis Vuitton Family's 4th Member Enters LVMH Dating Rumor With BLACKPINK's Lisa'

Dating Rumor with BLACKPINK’s Lisa’ Louis Vuitton family’s fourth member enters the LVMH board of directors.

Louis Vuitton-Meohennessy (LVMH) Chairman Bernard Arnault (74), who leads the ‘global luxury goods empire’, has joined the LVMH board of directors. He was embroiled in dating rumors after being spotted eating together with girl group Blackpink member Lisa (Larisa Manoban, 26, second from the right) in the United States and France.

On the 22nd (local time), the Financial Times (FT) and others reported that Frédéric, along with Chairman Arnault’s third son, Alexandre (31) Arnault, is scheduled to be appointed as an additional board member. If the two sons join the five-member board of directors, the control of the Arnault family, which owns more than 48% of LVMH shares and about 64% of voting rights, is expected to be further strengthened. Among the five siblings, all four except for the youngest son, Jean Arnault (25), are listed on the board of directors.

LVMH is expected to make a final decision on registration after receiving recommendations from board members in its annual results report on the 25th and voting at the annual general meeting of shareholders in April.

Accordingly, it is analyzed that the competition to succeed Chairman Arnault has intensified. The five siblings are each evaluated as having accumulated achievements in their own fields. In particular, Frederic was promoted to CEO of the LVMH watch division, which owns brands such as TAG Heuer, Hublot, and Zenith, on the 5th. Foreign media outlets are assessing that Frederick’s status has been greatly strengthened by this appointment. He joined TAG Heuer in 2017 and took over as CEO in 2020. He has attracted attention with bold moves such as signing a strategic long-term partnership with Porsche.

The industry predicts that Frederic will significantly increase TAG Heuer’s sales through new attempts such as the launch of a high-end product line and the use of synthetic diamonds, thereby joining the brand club worth 1 billion euros (about 1.4398 trillion won).

He said, “Succession is not a topic we think about. “Someday the right time will come,” he told the FT. Her eldest daughter, Delphine (48), has been the chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture, the group’s second-largest fashion brand, since last year. She is currently the only one of her siblings to be elected to the LVMH Executive Committee. The eldest son, Antoine (46), resigned from management of menswear brand Berluti early this year to negotiate a sponsorship contract for the 2024 Paris Olympics, and is serving as CEO of Christian Dior SE, a holding company of LVMH.

The third son, Alexandre, is the vice president in charge of products and communications at the jewelry brand Tiffany, and the youngest, Jean, works as the head of marketing and development in the watch division. Previously, LVMH also raised the CEO retirement age from 75 to 80 in 2022. This was interpreted as a ploy by Chairman Arnault to buy time to materialize the succession structure. He turns 80 in March 2029. Meanwhile, according to overseas media on the 3rd, it was reported that Lisa recently met with Frederick in Paris, France.

It is said that Lisa and Frederic visited ‘Disney Paris’ and then watched ‘Crazy Horse Show’. Therefore, on the 2nd, Lisa posted a photo of her trip to Zakynthos, Greece, on her social network service (SNS), and speculation is continuing that she went there with Frederick. This is because Frederick’s sister-in-law and younger brother were also enjoying their vacation in the same place.
