Tesla Factory Power Outage Incident Was A Terrorist Attack

“The Tesla factory power outage incident was a terrorist attack”… German Federal Prosecutor’s Investigation. While Tesla’s German factory was shut down for four days due to a power outage, German prosecutors defined the incident as a “terrorist act” and began an investigation.

According to local German media, the German Federal Prosecutor’s Office took over the case of arson at a transmission tower near the Tesla factory on the 8th local time from the Brandenburg State Prosecutor’s Office.

Federal prosecutors announced that they are investigating charges including membership in a terrorist organization, unconstitutional sabotage, and joint arson.

Tesla’s German factory in Grünheide, Brandenburg, lost electricity supply shortly after a fire, presumed to be arson, broke out in a nearby transmission tower around 5:15 a.m. on the 5th.

The left-wing extremist group Vulkangruppe sent letters to police and media outlets on the day of the incident, claiming that they had “carried out sabotage.”

This group also claimed responsibility for a power supply fire that occurred at a new Tesla construction site in 2021 and a transmission line fire near a COVID-19-related research center in 2020.

The transmission tower fire caused power outage not only in the state of Brandenburg, where the Tesla factory is located, but also in parts of southeastern Berlin.

Automotive expert Ferdinand Dudenhoeffer estimated that this power outage would cause economic damage to Tesla of 100 million euros, or about 144.2 billion won in Korean money.

Tesla‘s European production base, the German factory, faced opposition from local residents and environmental groups concerned about deforestation and water shortages from the start.
